PVSC BANQUET - BUSCH GARDENS

This Year’s IEEE PVSC Banquet will be held at the world
famous Busch Gardens on Thursday evening June 20,
2013.
Buses will leave the convention center at 6:00
PM. You will have time to stroll through the park, see the
animals, and even ride a few roller coaster (if you wish), as
you make your way over to the Desert Grill.
At the Desert Grill you will be treated to a buffet dinner
entitled “Taste of Tampa.” This will include: Ybor Salad,
Fresh Tropical Fruit Salad, Black Beans, Yellow Rice,
Plantains, Green Peas and Pimentos, Pork Asado, Mojo
Chicken, Shrimp in Caribbean Creole Sauce, Fresh Baked
Cuban Bread, Orange Flan, and Treys Leche Cake with
Caramel Sauce. There will also be a bar service with Two

Beer, Wine, or soft drink tickets per person.
During dinner don’t be surprised if a Flamingo, a Sloth
(
not me), or even a Red Crested Turaco join you at your
table. There will also be caricature artists throughout the
evening and Jungala themed characters who will perform.
However the highlight of the evening will most certainly be
the music stylings of the Gasparilla Groove. So, bring your
dancing shoes.
The cost for the banquet is $75 per person ($60 for
children). Space is limited, so register early.
